久々にいい映画を観ました。



"After the Wedding" （2006年 デンマーク）
邦題「アフター・ウェディング」

デンマーク人女性監督 Susanne Bier （スサンネ・ビエー）の作品です。
彼女の "Open Hearts" （2002年　邦題「幸せな孤独」）という作品がとても好きで
他の作品も観てみたかった。

私が一番好きな映画監督かもしれません。
イギリスのケン・ローチ監督も好きですが、女性監督だからかな、
感性が近いし、自然に共感できて、映画のすみずみまで気持ちいい。

難病とか、病気で死ぬとか、不慮の事故とか、記憶喪失とかいう
明らかにドラマになる、安易で非日常的な設定ではなく、
誰にも身に覚えがあるような普通の日常・人生の中から
丁寧に人間を描いてに心打つドラマを作る監督。

調べたら、彼女の2作品がアメリカでリメイクされています。

"Brothers" は2008年12月全米公開予定
Jim Sheridan監督（おぉ゛In America”の監督だー）
Natalie Portman、Jake Gyllenhaal　主演　すごー

"Open Hearts" は Zach Braff という俳優がリメイクしようと
2006年から動いているようですが、難航中の模様。
配給パラマウントの名前まで出ているの、実現は難しいんだなぁ。


彼女の作品はデンマーク語で見てとてもいいのですが、
結局アメリカで売るには英語でリメイクせなあかん、というのが現実。
最近はそれもありだなーと思えます。消費者に合わせてパッケージが変わる。
ストーリー、メッセージはそのままに、各国違う表現で作る。

日本映画もせめてアメリカ映画界からリメイクオファーを得ることを
視野に入れて映画を作るべき。あまりに国内仕様が多い。
映画はグローバルに、普遍的に人々に訴えるメッセージを秘めてこそ
真の力があると思う。日本で目標の観客動員に達すればいい、というくらいの
志だったら作品も弱くなっちゃいます。TVドラマとおんなじ。

たまに外国受けを意識しすぎて滑稽な日本映画もありますが。
そうじゃなくて、小津安二郎の映画みたいに、究極の日本の日常なんだけど
世界的に受け入れられる普遍性がある、そういうのがいいなー。
人間とか、生きるということとか、真剣に追求したら結局
国や文化は関係ないんだと、思います。

あと！日本映画にまだドグマ95の映画がないのがさみしい。
Open Hearts がドグマフィルムです。

ドグマ95とは、映画製作のある厳格な決まりごとです。
たとえば、撮影はロケのみ、セット・小道具・照明・音響いっさいなし、
ハンドカメラで三脚は使わない、今ここで起きている事しか撮らない、など。

だから仕上がりは、ドキュメンタリー的というか、臨場感いっぱい。
でも決してチープな作品でなく、クオリティも高い。
（ま、全部見ていないので一部見た作品だけですが）

デンマーク映画の「幸せになるイタリア語講座」
ニコール・キッドマン主演の「ドッグヴィル」、それから「ミフネ」もドグマ映画。

ドグマ95を始めたのは、「ダンサー・イン・ザ・ダーク」の
ラース・フォン・トリアー監督ら。

安易なアクションや精巧なシナリオで、すべてが表面的で計算された
作りごとの映画。それがもてはやされる傾向にNOという声を上げよう！
映画監督自がテクノロジー、作りごと、作家主義から離れよう！

映画監督自らで映画を浄化し、映画界に考えるきっかけを与えるため、
問答無用の10ルール「純潔の誓い」をマニフェストに定めました。

これまで作られた映画は全世界で260本。残念ながら日本ではまだ。
でもチャレンジ精神旺盛な骨太の日本人監督が近い将来きっと現れるはず。
ドグマ95初の日本映画、作りたいなー。

A: Most definitely not. While the ideas behind the Dogme95 Manifesto was born out of honest analysis it is true that the enormous international and local success of the first 3 dogme films has to a degree turned ’dogme’ into a commerical gimmick - a pr stunt. But that is fine with us. After all we are missionaries for the message.

There is an implicit duplicity in The Dogme95 Manifesto. On one hand it contains a deep irony and on the other it is most serious meant. Irony and seriousness is interlinked in inseparable. What we have concerned ourselves with is the making of a set of rule. In this sense it is a kind of play, a game called ’rule-making’. Seriousness and play goes hand in hand. A clear example of this is that the very strict and serious Dogme95 Manifesto was actually written in only 25 minutes and under continuous bursts of merry laughter… Still, we maintain that we are in earnest. ライヴがとにかくお勧めです。
変幻自在な即興アレンジばかりで
こんな自由自在に歌えるの歌手もめったにいないと思う。

歌詞もものすご〜くひねってあり
音韻と意味で遊びまくっているので
その奥深い意味になかなか気づけなかったりします。
止まらない思考活動の延長として歌があるみたい。

日本では男性ファンが多いのもうれしい限り。
ただ日本のプロモーターはあまり熱心でなく
来日のチャンスが少ないのが残念。
力まないのは彼に合ってるけど。

メジャーデビュー前からライヴでずっと歌われていた
I'm Yours というスイートな曲をどうぞ。

ちなみにこの曲、今年発売のアルバムにようやく収録となったのですが、
アルバム版では歌詞が何箇所か変更されています。

先々週から、仕事で新宿のダンススタジオに通いました。
ある舞台の稽古を見学（取材）するためです。
そして今日がスタジオ最終日。
明日は本番のステージ（国際フォーラム）でリハーサル。
そして明後日本番を迎えます。

そこで、

舞台の上手・下手って英語で何ていうんだろう。

調べたら単純でした。

stage left　= 上手
stage right　=　下手

英語だと役者が観客を見たときの左右なんですね。

upstage　　=　ステージ後方
downstage =　ステージ前方（観客席に近い方）
apron =　幕よりも前の（客席側にせり出した）ステージ部分
runway/brilliant close/glorious path　　=　花道


ステージを皆で作っていく過程っていいですねー。
泣いて笑って怒って励まして。
見ているだけなのに私までうるうるしてきます。
明後日の舞台はきっと世間が驚くショーになるでしょう。

友人のエリは歌い手、踊り手。
様々なジャンルの音楽・ダンスを経てたどり着いたのがベリーダンス。
昨年見に行った初発表会では ものすごく愛らしかった！
身体全部、魂全部で踊るのがうれしいうれしいと言ってました。

そしてクリス、シーアはミュージシャン。
たくさん民族楽器を持参し、その後も続々と駆けつけた
仲間のダンサーやミュージシャンとともに、すばらしい
即興音楽とベリーダンスの花見宴になりました。



私はエリにベリーダンスの手ほどきを受け、
見よう見まねでくねくねカクカク。あー気持ちいい。。。

明日はきっと筋肉痛ですが、あまりに身体が気持ちよいので
これからも練習してみようと思います。

森光子さんの『放浪記』を観に行ってきました。
森さんのライフワークである舞台、今見なきゃ、と思い立って
売切チケットをヤフオクで購入。

思ったより地味な演出なのに、登場人物一人一人が生き生きとして、
林芙美子らの文士が生きた昭和の香りと波を感じました。

そこで、『放浪記』と言えば森光子さんのでんぐり返し。
ドクターストップがかかったとかでもう見られませんが、
英語でなんていうんだ？と思って調べました。
